It’ts all the rage right now getting your home organized! The Marie Kondo Method is sweeping the nation and everyone wants to get organized. So today I wanted to share the tips I use in our Kitchen Pantry to keep things organized in our home.
Tip #1: Move your whole family out of your house. – Totally kidding but after you do this you might think that might be the best option to keep things in that pretty order you have once your done. DON’T! DO keep the tips I give you and keep reinforcing them if everything has a place then you are more likely to keep it up and it will then be a habit instead of a tip.
TIP #2: Lazy Susans – Anyone else hate calling it that? I mean really she isn’t that lazy but I’m sure she is dizzy! Anyway Lazy susans are your BFF for any cabinet space in your home that you need organized. Think about it when everything is stacked behind itself you will forget it is there. BUT with a lazy susan spin it around and you’ll see everything.
Tip #3: Condense boxes – I hate boxes, my husband probably thinks differenly with all the online shopping I do but it’s true I hate them, especially in the my pantry! I put all of your cereals in the
Tip #4: Label if you need to – I honesly only label if I know that item will be hanging around in our pantry for a LONG time {like cheese itsz}, but it has to be a home favorite and and more generalized label like baking or coffee 😉 not really coffee but you get my point.
Tip #5: Tiered Storage – I am obsessed with our tiered can storage., it makes life so much easier to be able to look straight into the cabinet and see what item is is we need to replenish.
Tip #6: Baskets – This works for our family and esspecially our son every time he gets a snack he can easily go into the pantry and get it himself and doesn’t need us to grab it for him it’s not the neatest baskets by any means but it works for him and thats all that matters!
