I’m Marie—

Can you believe it? It’s a new year, it’s a new decade and I’m so ready for it. This year hasn’t exactly started the way I was expecting it to. I mean starting it laying on your couch sick with your babies and husband isn’t exactly ideal but watching YOU on Netflix while the kids nap makes it not so bad, this start had done something to me though and has made me realize we need to slow down more. I know that won’t always be possible but I’m going to make more of an effort to make us have more down days where we simply do nothing

MY WORD: FLOURISH

  1. More Selfcare. I know this word was here and there and everywhere in 2019 but for this lady it is sticking around in my life. Those days I went out shopping, had a massage or medicure were gold and life giving and I’m going to keep filling up my cup in this way.

  2. Keep loving myself and my body the way it is. 2019 I realized chasing something I can’t stand doing like working out wasn’t going to do me any favors, I don’t enjoy it and it wasn’t helping me lose weight it was actually putting more stress on me so I decided to just eat right that good noutrishish fill you up food and that exactly what I’ll be continuing to do well into the years ahead and I’m feeling zero guilt about that!

  3. Stop thinking just because we may have had a bad day doesn’t mean I’m a bad mom. I think moms in general need to stop doing this you’d never hear a 90’s mom say she thinks she is a crappy mom and neither should we!

  4. Don’t start a new roject till I’ve finished the one before.

  5. Collaborate more with brands I LOVE!

  6. Don’t let my anxiety hold me back from doing things I really want to do and know I will have an amazing time doing.

  7. Enjoy time with people I truly love being around.

  8. Read more. I so crave a good book and am planning on trying to read one book a month.

  9. More dates with my husband. We SUCK at taking dates and planning time for just the two of us outside of our home, don’t get me wrong I love a good at home date night but we need more time outside of our home enjoying life together.

Hope you guys enjoyws my goals and word of the year. Do you have a word of the year? Leave it in the comments below!
